He is happily married to his beautiful wife of 17 years and is the proud father of two wonderful daughters.
Today
Eddie Garcia is the son of a ranch hand, born and raised in Southeast Texas. Eddie comes from a long line of Army veterans. His Great-Grandfather, Andres Garcia, served in WWI. His Grandfather, Ramon Garcia, served in WWII. His Stepfather, Raul Martinez, served in Vietnam. When Eddie was 17, he enlisted in the United States Army.
Early Life
Background
Eddie Garcia has had an exemplary career in the military, serving as a 22-year Army veteran. During his service, he completed six combat deployments, three in Iraq and three in Afghanistan. He was also an essential member of the special operations community for 14 years, after which time he commanded over 300 paratroopers in the prestigious 82D Airborne Division.
Eddie was the Chief Communications Officer for the Central Command Commanding General from 2017-2018, overseeing communications architecture in 21 countries.
Eddie spent five years serving as a national security advisor and legislative liaison, working closely with policy experts, members of Congress, and the Pentagon to pass legislation that enhances national security, supports Gold Star families, and protects the welfare of veterans.

Eddie owns and founded the MIL-VETS Mobile Veterans App, which services veterans, military spouses, and veteran business owners.
Eddie is also an independent federal legislative consultant, specializing in strategy development for potential federal legislation or policy initatives.
