EDDIE’s Story

Eddie Garcia, an Army veteran and dedicated financial professional, has committed his life and career to serving others and giving back to underserved communities. Leveraging his extensive experience in the military and finance, Eddie works tirelessly to teach leadership skills and financial literacy to those who need it most. He passionately advocates for veterans and underserved populations, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to achieve financial stability and success. Eddie empowers individuals to take control of their financial futures through workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and community initiatives. As a man of faith, Eddie also dedicates his time to volunteering with faith-based organizations and religious youth groups. By offering financial education and mentorship, he helps young people develop essential life skills. Eddie’s involvement with these groups underscores his commitment to nurturing the next generation and promoting values of service, integrity, and financial responsibility. He is happily married to his beautiful wife of 17 years and is the proud father of two wonderful daughters.

Today

Eddie Garcia is the son of a ranch hand, born and raised in Southeast Texas. Eddie comes from a long line of Army veterans. His Great-Grandfather, Andres Garcia, served in WWI. His Grandfather, Ramon Garcia, served in WWII. His Stepfather, Raul Martinez, served in Vietnam. When Eddie was 17, he enlisted in the United States Army.

Early Life

Background

Eddie Garcia has had an exemplary career in the military, serving as a 22-year Army veteran. During his service, he completed six combat deployments, three in Iraq and three in Afghanistan. He was also an essential member of the special operations community for 14 years, after which time he commanded over 300 paratroopers in the prestigious 82D Airborne Division.

Eddie was the Chief Communications Officer for the Central Command Commanding General from 2017-2018, overseeing communications architecture in 21 countries.

Eddie spent five years serving as a national security advisor and legislative liaison, working closely with policy experts, members of Congress, and the Pentagon to pass legislation that enhances national security, supports Gold Star families, and protects the welfare of veterans.

  • Eddie is also an independent federal legislative consultant, specializing in strategy development for potential federal legislation or policy initatives.
